These are more or less track pads so need warming up (driving on the street they are okish at best), it's one of those things price wise... Even tho more expensive, I would never step back again... They are far far superior, put it this way. It wasn't the brakes that were the limiting factor it was the driver lol I couldn't get these suckers to lock up with the tyre setup, so next trackday is going to be alot about working on braking points, and exactly how much these pads can take.

I will happily pay more again for the next stepup once I require them, the investment is well worth it IMO. And they seem to last well, I kinda ate through my TS2000's so if I can get 6+ trackdays out of these pads they would be cheaper then buying multiple sets of ts2000's in the long run. But thats me tho, others I know of can make ts2000's last alot longer.

true.. its this conversation that is useful. It sounds like a shet load of money hey.. I guess im in that place where my car is my daily but still gets some pretty quick laps in at the track. My current pads are awful when cold . in fact down right dangerous eh... definately need warming up and bite really hard when hot - im still finding their limits as well.. but i have the Znoelli S12 rotors which seem to have decimated my pads.. but i like them due to not a single warpage or hotspot screechy since i bought them..

The last problem is the brake dust.. my last ones were seemingly cronicly dusty.

Dilemas people.. dilemas.

All good mate, I haven't used slotted for a while. Just been using 2nd hand discs/cheapies lol, currently got a set of brembo discs I scored off trademe lol lasted me 4 trackdays and still cranking lol.... Not convinved on the extra coinage for slotted, just haven't found the gains at the track and have chewed through pads/rotors faster I've found. So currently sticking to the the usual rotors from BNT etc.

Mine isn't a daily driver though, but dust lol I've kinda given up now... Think the metal on my wheels are fecked from the lack of cleaning I've done on them, the dust is doing its damage unfortunately.

Haha, You had white wheels on it you Muppet. I must admit they looked cool for about half a lap, before they went into their grey colour :P

Why do you think i want black wheels :)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
