so i just got the car back from sublab and in there own words said "seems as if your head gaskets are blown" now how much is the car worth if i sell it? and is 2k+ to fix it correct?

it is pretty much in standerd condition except for mags subs amp bov boost controller tints boost gauge momo steering wheel lowerd with kings and has a bore exhaust

yea no offence to all you guys and gals but im kinda done with subarus its been nothing but problems for me ever since i got it so imma just sell it and move on but in saying that anyone want some parts? or just take the whole damn thing hahaha

has WOF and rego and is still driveable but will heat up on you

Been there many a time, but everytime i get is sussed and it goes mint...It makes it so much worthwhile, all cars have thier issues, subies just seem to have a bad rep! (maybe justified :P)

There's nothing wrong with SUBARU's.

It's just that too many people think, Hey, Subaru's go pretty hard, i'd like one, and then, instead of spending a decent amount on a well looked after model, they buy a cheapie off someone whos thrashed the arse off it for years and wonder why it breaks...

The only Subaru i had trouble with (and it wasn't much) was my $5000 GT legacy wagon, all the others cost well over $15,000 and were tidy, looked after models...

^ It's all true.

My $200 Legacy wagon... died of cancer, blown box, blown engine.

My $500 Legacy shell evolved into a $3000 money pit, and STILL has a strange leak and 47593847589374 noises.

My $350 half-parted Legacy just vomited its entire sump through the turbo.

My $10,500 Impreza has NEVER, EVER missed a beat after 120,000km of my abuse and is down only because I want to change the cambelt. ;D

The reason your Impreza hasn't broken something is because it doesn't have 290nm+ of twist being dumped into the drive train.

It certainly doesn't, no. But isn't it a different drivetrain?

It does have a lot of g-forces for a pissy N/A dumped on it though, thanks to hard suspension and a propensity to stick.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
