WOULD standard v4 rear shocks fit into my v5 wrx?

OR has anyone got a pair of rear struts and low springs i can borrow until i can get my struts rebuilt?

Gimmie prices people. Dont wanna spend mega bucks. Gonna cost abit to get mine rebuilt and cannot afford right at the minute plus have no garage until i can build the new one so probably easier just to get some 2nd hand rears for the minute, although be more expensive in the long run.

Just found some adjusties for hundy buck. Local too. All good.

I doubt any adjusties for $100 could be described as 'all good'.

V5 are inverted struts, V4 are not, best to try to match them up.

but they do fit i got ver3 shocks in my ver5 just had to cable tie the abs to the shocks lol. ;D

but i do notice a lot of cracking when going around corners i suspect the washers been put on the wrong bolt as it never made the noise before i put the springs in.

Better that they stuffed unsafe ones already in there. Plus its hardly driven and only every second sunday to and from town to grocerys and hangover food. The 'all good'ones are only to keep it safe until i can afford them to be rebuilt.

If i had the standard ones id put them in in the mean time. And i dont have a garage at the mo or id put it one stands until i could get it fixed.

Do any of you have a set of 4 Struts with Super Lows, im in a similar boat to the guy who started this thread, need to get my Adjusties rebuilt and their the only thing stopping my Warrant, Can't afford new Adjusties or for them to be rebuilt right now but if some has some good cond Stuts with Super lows for a good price, that would really help me out..

Went aND HAD A look at these tonight. Bloody good nick, damper adjustable also.

Just no top hats but not hard to get a couple those.

AND if they are stuffed when i put them in i actually know him and where he works, lives etc so no probs
