also I took mine to the wheel alignment place and got them to do a "rwd" wheel alignment on it, helped heaps

yeah can see i will need to do this as i alway take axles out by undoing the camber bolts instead of the ball joint, just easier IMO

Why would you do that? The ball joint doesnt even need the wheel taken off to remove... AND its only one small bolt.

you have to remove the sump to get at the spark plugs right?

An Impreza is a nose heavy like a lead-tipped arrow, so try re-distributing the weight like moving the battery to the boot.

they arent that bad (i thought), i had my corner weights somewhere*. I was quite surprised, Il see if i can dig em out.

Can also try lowering the rear 5-10mm to shift the weight bias.

adjusties are already at the limit for lowness and still got heaps of room between gaurd and tyre...maybe wind the fronts up (gasps)

Would acheive the same result and probably improve the front end dynamics as well. Got any travel left? Could be sitting on the stops in the rear on full squat. Doesn't help traction.

yeah both F & R have got travel, but rear are wound right down and front still have bout 40mm up and 25-30mm down.

Sits bout the same hieght as superlow kingsprings currently...so not dumped on bumpstops or anything like that...yet ;)

+1 for bigger front sway bar, I've got a V5 Type R, which does have a plated R180 b.t.w.

With the DCCD wound back if I got got rear end loose and took my foot off the gas it would keep sliding, now I've got a 24mm front sway bar if the rear steps out I take my foot off the gas and it comes back again.

I started playing with it after I ended up facing backwards in the rain (mosty due to being a bad driver ;D)

I've also got a 22mm adjustable rear sway bar, but as I've got the DCCD it still feels pretty neutral (i.e doesn't understeer) on the track because of the big front sway bar.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
