dusted off the xbox on the weekend ( 1st gen xbox ) got to thinkin...

heres the challenge!

best laptimes on forza motorsport 1.

each week ill post up the track and the car to use..

week 1:

TRACK: Tsukuba circuit

CAR: 22b impreza

MODIFICATIONS: UNLIMITED ;D ( including car setup and upgrades )

post your best lap times. also your kw rating for the car.

I don't have 1 any more. I'll get a lap time in 3 tonight though. But i think 3 will have the advantage, since you can swap engines in and get more power. My gobstopper there has the ever probable Twin turbo EZ36. Might swap the EJ22 back in to make it a bit more fair.

Or maybe make it S-class Subies or something

ah ok well on #1 you can choose what subie engine u want...

maybe for those who have forza 2 or 3 can post which version of the game they using as well since they probably will vary in the lap times to some extent..

Righty, best lap time i did was:

0:55.533

Car: 22B

Class: S700

Mods:

EJ22 making 464kw

All/max handling mods

Forza wings for lotsa downforce

And here's a pic, i found the Gobstopper 'skin' in the auction house, very niiiice! Had no mods so i did all the tuning and such myself. It's a pitty the game designers didn't know you could adjust the downforce with the factory wing!!! I would have left it on if you could

Are these Flying laps or standing start?

I have nothing to do but play computer games and shit all day so I'm keen to get in on this with Forza 2 (I have forza 1 and first gen xbox but its in my brothers room and its too scary to go in to...)

That is until my boost controller and STI bits arrive 8) then i will finally have better things to do with my time

Yeah, i regress into wonderland when i don't have the cash to go drive the real thing sitting in my drive.

Times are flying laps. Mine was on the 10th or so, lets the tyres get nice and warm.

p.s how do you get photos from xbox to computer?

lol. When you're racing, in the pause menu is photo-mode. Take a snapshot, and when you save it to your HD, it asks if you want to upload it to the market place (gotta be on xbox live), say yes.. Then jump on the computer, and go to http://forzamotorsport.net/ and login in using your xbox live account. Under "My Forza" will be your pic.

After 7 laps my best time is 56.092 on Forza 1

EJ22 peak power 413kw

Weight 1045kg

Maxed out the mods and tweaked the downforce a little bit

56.545 was my best, after afew upgrades to make it s700

pretty rats cause my best in A600 with a tune was 57.126

will tune and try again when i can be bothered lol

And yeah, tsukuba really doesn't need big power, i think the differences between A and S classes on that track for the 22B's will be pretty minimal.

Was bored so had a go at this on Forza 2. Best time was 54.565 after 10 laps.

S976 with about 450kw, with standard kit (no forza wing) and without race slicks. Spent a while tuning it though
