I think it was mentioned to point out that they probably get slightly different treatment/deals to the guy with just his car policy.
@Conducks just remember that you may not be covered at the drag races even if they are on the street. May not be covered at the track as well, best to check the policy
Being with the same insurance company will help, but as said above just be careful with it under your mums name and being a nominated driver as if they (or more importantly their underwriter) find out that you are the main driver there may be issues.
Sometimes having a lot of money tied up with one company doesn't always mean it will go your way in a claim. as I said sometimes the underwriters can have a say in claims and they have their own rules to go by.
Also it depends on how the policy is worded with nominated drivers, I remember having to put the wife down for a nominated driver and had to say what percentage of time she drove.
Thanks
Have just had a look at some of the colours and it looks like they have used the metallic gold on some Brembos, so could be a really good start.
Trying to find out either what colour Subaru painted the RS RA rims (gold) or paint code.
I am thinking about painting my rims to match the picture below but have not been able to fin out what the colour or colour code is.
Is anyone able to point me in the right direction.
I was going to go into a paint shop to talk to them about it, but I need a bit more info to help them/me out.
This is what I am wanting to end up with - approximately.
Or if anyone knows of a set of rims in the right colour that is for sale.
Thanks
Welcome
From my bad memory the Rev D BH (which you have - you can tell by the different headlights) bonnet and lights are different, unsure on the front bumper though. Looks to me the same as my old BH bumper.
Nice looking wagon, love the rims
You know you're in the boonies when the instructions to get there are turn at the brick house
Looks like fun. Good luck @Technikhaus will this be the first hill climb in the new car?
I would stay with the wagon.
Good luck with the search for a manual car, most of the ones I looked at were auto, the only manual one had a dodgy gearbox.
Apart from that I love my BP outback (Just a slightly jacked up legacy), I too had a BH before hand and its a much nicer overall.
Installed my new ECU in the RS. Thanks to @blitzd808 for supply me with one. Not a RS ra one, but is matched to the the turbo in the car.
Next weekends job will be to finish bolting the turbo back up installing all the intake piping and battery and getting her running again. Got too cold to finish off yesterday.
Thanks @Joker
Looks like it will be a while till I hear then. Well it hasn't gone off yet, so hopefully will be all good.
Would be ironic to crash because of the air bag going off and not having the airbag to save you because its already deployed
My ClubSub sticters got delivered yesterday - yay.
Now to figure where to put them.
I want one on the out back but not sure if I put it on the rear windscreen or the back side window?
The other one Im not sure yet, maybe on the MTB?
Check this one out - it is in Palmy North, but could be worth a look. Might be able to negotiate a lower price.

So did a bit of experimenting on they way to pick the kids up last night.
So what I have learned is that the Eco mode seems to be only for a very small amount of travel of the pedal.
It seems to keep it in Eco mode when the throttle is only partially depressed, once it goes past that point it switches back to normal.
I think the idea is when you are cruising with light throttle inputs its economical and saving gas, when you need some more power and depress further it kicks it out of Eco.
