Oh ok, I was wondering if the covers were brittle. I have a set of them on atm but couldn\'t imagine drilling them without taping them up first. I have a scoop over my pod atm anyway so that probably enough for my application.

T1Rs FTW! I think my love for them is pretty well known but I really rate them. I think they hold well and I find them to be pretty progressive, I know how far I can push them before they let go and come back quite well if you reign it in once you slide.

What setup were you running that day we went out to Jareds? I was mighty impressed with the way the wagon handled the throwing about it got. There was a couple of those corners I don\'t think the WRX would have taken without being an understeering pig.

Depends how cheap you want to go, theres really not a whole lot wrong with a Repco/supercheap jobbie other than looking a tad cheap. If you want something brand name look on Trademe, not unusual to find a nice brand second hand one for good price. My Apexi carbon face one was about $40 with a holder and its very cool.

OMG that Lancia is so freakin cool!

My little brothers 93 Hit boost cut just over 14PSI when we were playing with it a few weeks ago. Was boosting 12PSI when he got it and it looks stock as a rock. Pretty sure the BC RS Hit boost cut around 15psi. Seems probable its a similar setup.

My new rims arrived, another set of 17x8 Sektas. These are destined to be green right now but that may change. Might be time to sell a set of rims I think, up to 5 sets now.

Just quietly I think in that price range you will struggle to find a WRX that hasnt been rolled bowled and assholed for at least 180 thousand kms. If you can stretch out to 4-5k you might get close to the money you will need for a decent WRX. You may however find a decent TT Legacy for that 3-3.5k price that hasnt been so abused. Normally I advocate WRX over all (Biased lol) but no use buying a WRX that will be a paperweight inside 3 months because you cant afford to fix the BEB it has run. Just my 2c.
