ReubenH - Nice tips, I'll also be in the market for a GT in about a months time.
What is involved in converting the pre and post 96 GTs from auto to manual?
Alot are auto, so I'm just wondering if I should consider buying an auto and converting it at a later date..
Last year when I visited nz, we nearly caused, easily a dozen accidents with the right/left give way thing!
And now I know about it, I'm still not sure when to give way to the right and not to give way - then there is the 'zebra' crossings right before/after small round-abouts! Nearly ran a few pedestrians over too..
Could someone please explain when you do give way to someone turning across your street.
My 93 S2 'Liberty' has the height control to the left of the steering wheel.
And on the right of the steering wheel is the switch for my cruise.
Below the stereo it has a compartment above the ashtray, useful for random screws etc that I find around the car haha.
And next to the handbrake I have a swtich that is called 'manual'. This is only on the auto models like mine, to explain simply, I press the manual button when I select first or second and the a/t will hold in that gear. Handy for offroad and/or snow etc
+1 YES!
Looks is just a personal thing. I like them because ^ of their use.
Admittedly, I've never had Monsoons on my Subys, but 'weather shields' on anything else work really well. Especially offroad, you can't afford to have windows too far open, or the inside gets re-decorated!
