Im so excited..flying up 2 Auckland 2moro at 8am to get my car back from PBMS in Puke then driving it home after a new longblock has been put in. Nice easy trip back to Welly then an oil change...

Thanx for offer but Im right at this stage..have a bus train combo to Puke via Papa2toes worked out..ETA 1046 at Puke station so about 11am at PBMS....quick bill pay, instructions and then off...slowly of course given its running in.

I know you're not gonna be able to pop round given you're heading straight out to break the beast in now It's not like stop-start, traffic and such are going to help the initial running-in process so it's all good!

Safely back after picking up Rexite..8 hours, max 3psi, 48 litres for 550 kms (must try boostless trips again. Seems okay..a few belt whines I think. Cant really tell till Im allowed to use more boost. Thanx to Qwerty for saying high at PBMS. Heaps of police of course..one at Paremat pulling someone who didnt ahve lights on at home or on car...lotsa tailgating idiots, one evasive left to avod head on and one 4wd owner who passed me twice at ends of passing lanes badly.

Roll on nect few weeks for more testing/driving....

Saw Trev yesterday and he was doing the 500k oil change, he was saying he had another 500k to do before he had "run it in"...... sounds mint though
