It doesn't look like a genuine STi to me

yes it has the bigger scoop and an sti badge on the dash board but that's about it, no brembo brakes or STi trim or even the six speed gear box. Oh and s401 came out in 2002

Why do you say no 6 speed? I can't see anything to say it's not.

The Brembo's could have been swapped out in Japan.

Why do you say no 6 speed? I can't see anything to say it's not.

The Brembo's could have been swapped out in Japan.

Its also missing the factory fitted STI intercooler...

Just had a good browse through the S401 specs. It definitely looks like a B4 with an S401 scoop now.

so it has an STi badge on the engine cover (which is bright red/pink?) and on the dash. STi pedals. STi spotlight covers, but an aftermarket bodykit.

IT IS NOT AN S401.

looks like it could be a genuine pre-s401 (which was a 2002 or 2003 model) sti tuned legacy to me, if there was one.

I have heard of an s400, but I haven't ever found much online to say there was such a thing. Yes, it's on wikipedia. I can edit wikipedia.

either that, or someone put the sti pedals, stickers, and engine cover on, and then pulled the dash from a...(it's not from an impreza wrx sti) ? the s401 dash tacho went up to 10k, this only goes to 8. unless they just put a sly sticker in there.

brembos, 6-speed, and the intercooler were for the s401. also, the s401 has an STi logo in the middle of the steering wheel, and pink STi stitching on the wheel as well. sti center caps on the rims, and s401 badging on the car too.

that above is a kitted s401, not in anyway factory or even factory option

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
