at the end of the day it depens on what you want eg condition wise and kays on the clock

high kays, rough condition = low price

low kays, good condition = high price

and you got the ones in between

Close but the S202 would be a better daily, it adds a few luxuries back to the Spec C plus more power, even sharper handling etc.

No it doesn't. GDB = STi, vs GDA = non-STi Impreza sedan. I forget the nomenclature, but the "A/B/C/D/E/F" etc. revisions are noted later in the chassis code.

No STi wagon in V7 onwards. I believe only STi was sedan, until the hatches came out.

EDIT: And this is by no means scientific, but I just did a search on Trademe for Subaru, STi, 2000 onwards, body type Hatch, and theres only one which is advertised as a V7 STi wagon. It has telltale signs like red top manifold, STi TMIC, stickers on doors and also STi dash cluster, but there's no STi badging anywhere on it - grille, rear boot etc.

So I don't know if I believe my first statement... would have to get the model code off the car.

Im pretty sure there was an sti wagon bugeye - it was different from the sedan tho in that it didn't have the wide track. Perhaps no brembos as well.

Didn't sell well so discontinued - as sti buyers didn't want a wagon...

correct there was 100% a v7 sti wagon. sorry paul my question was leading as i already knew the answer.

my question really is..

what are the codes for the v7 sti wagon, the v7 wrx wagon, and then the v8 WRX wagon...

the sti wagon was discontinued when v8 came out.

NTYCME's v9 WRX wagon is GGA

It's interesting to note that the S202 shares the same chassis code as the Type RA Spec C, which means that they just took an RA Spec C off the production line and bolted all the STi goodies onto it.

According to that table, no WR-Limited in V7

WR-Limited versions were to celebrate WRC championship winning years. Petter Solberg won with the version 8 WRC car. The version 7 WRC car had a horrible season.
