Intercooler Watersprayers

Does anyone know how the "Auto" spray functions work.

Is it wired straight to the ecu or some sort of controller box that makes it run auto on boost??

i bought a factory button and reservoir for $1 reserve one time. Sold as a package with some nozzles and some cheap tubing for like $200 boom!

I guess at worst case you could rig up some sort of pressure switch so that when boos goes over say 1 bar it gives a good squirt?

Yeah no doubt you could haha just wondering really if it is a unit might as well whip it out of the shell for someone.

the GC sprayer works off the map sensor, once above 5psi it switches on for a bit

Can you install these in a normal sti??? would i notice much differance on my front mount?

the GDB have a smarter setup where they take in account intake temp and load etc befor spraying.. works rather well..

on a front mount, not really noticed much difference.

on the top mount was worth it...

the single spray button is best tho where u just press it when u know u wana boost and it showers the IC with cold water for 5 seconds
