6S ecu into bc5 rs

Hey . How easy is it to put a 6s ecu into a rs ? Would it be a complete wiring loom swap including maf and yellow injectors ? Would any thing need re wiring on the ver 3 loom ? If any ones done this before could you please shed some light . Cheers

has it previously been changed to a v3 loom?

there would be a bit of wiring involved . easiest way on a bc5 is a chip

a loom swap would work, or modifying what you have

try the search, then people who have done this will answer specific questions

Ok yeah sorry cant search on my crappy phone . . . Can you cut the plug off the rs loom and re wire the 6s plug onto the rs loom ? And re wire orange maf plug on ? Iv told owner that chip is the easiest way ha ha dont think he likes easy

We have a bc with a 6s and had some fueling issues. Hard to start and on boost would go really lean. Only way we could fix it was a wide band controller. This was with repinning rhe bc loom

could pull the BC's ecu plug wires & re-pin 3 of the plugs, to suit the 6s ecu but you'l be scratching your head a few times if you get them mixed up...

& As for the loom swap

Tell him to start stripping it out cos that's what he'll be doing.. plus the engine loom will need a little re-wiring too

& just incase He's/your not sure how much to strip ;D should really only take you a day, & i should have just settled for a link while i had it stripped hindsight aye
