need help with flat spot

and then goes flat

tried the walbro sock thing...

tried new afm..

with unplug afm and go for drive tomoro and see if it drives good again..

i think you need an expert to help - after the last motor disaster your car has nothing but issues that you cant sort

I havn't heard of it very often on later model cars but coil packs?

You could go on driving it and kill another engine or you could just save some headache and TAKE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL!!

yea cud be coil packs

mine had issues a while while back but it wud backfire as well

unless weak coils

Coils would normally cause missfire not flat spot . . Sure tps is set correctly ? Ignition timing ? things that normally cause flat spot is retarded ignition timing (could be knock sensor doing it) or a lean fuel mixture (o2 sensor) (air leak) etc . . . Any fault codes ?

drive with afm on ...crap

take off afm plug...stalls

restart and drive..good

pull over with cel on..plug in afm..crap

But in saying that a flat spot is just that . A spot . . . A flat spot is normally a tps set wrong and will fuel cut (turn injectors off) at a certain throttle position then give it more or less throttle and the flat spot is gone (using ill set tps as a example) if your just dying off (not a spot as such) then its some thing different . . .

Does it throw air flow meter code ? Have you checked afm signal at the afm plug ? Then also checked at ecu plug ?

New air flow meter doesnt mean the signals getting to the ecu . What fault code then ? You said it check engine lights ?

will find the voltage of afm and let you know

by the way the v7s have tps but you cannot adjust it...

I know nissans run mud as when the ecu notices a too bigger difference in throttle position vs air flow . . . Leaks can cause this . . . As can dodgey Maf . . . And dodgey maf wiring . . . I dont know if subs are like that but it could be some thing to look into . . . Think you need to put scan tool onto it to be honest

Car has issue(s) , so did last engine , so many different faults fixed already

Time for someone who knows what they are doing to look at it
