bc5 Legacy Scoop

Iv seen a few bc5??(1990 odd) legacy round with just normal gc8 scoops.

Do these bolt straight on or require modding to fit??

nah loving the r now with the new motor..

jsut for cam in his legacy..he wants a bigger scoop ?? lol and i know iv seen the gc8 ones on them before.

He actually wants a version 8 style one hence im asking because trying to work out if a gc8 fitment v8 one will fit sti..

But why i dont know haha..

Dare i say it but the huge V8 scoop suits the BC better due to it's angular lines.

But i wouldn't be caught dead with anything besides the OE.

Yeah will investigate further i think as i need a new lawn mower...me supplying him a scoop = lawn mower which = me happy haha

remove old small scoop and get some decent glue,i used that 2 pack stuff that u mix 2gether and i put a towel over the scoop and put a massive brick on it over night,honestly it sounds a horry way but it fits mint over the stock gap

ver1 and 2 scoops dont fit also,there a different shape, ver8 fit easy 2

i used gorilla glue for mine which wasnt the best, it came out the sides when it dried so i ran some black silicon round the edges.

I could have done a better job i guess but just wanted something covering the hole after my stock one flew off the car at 100km and smashed into 10 bits

i reakon the v7 scoop suits the bc shape better than v8..

+1, ive kind gone off the v8 scoop now lol, looks mint on some cars but not on others

i prefer the sti ver7 also, ver8 is 2 big, even on some gc8s they look wrong

hahaha...tru tru..

but yea on the bc and gc shape - the v8 sometimes can look oddly too big...

the v7sti one is possibly the best for that shape - and its for a fairly huge flow too..

the v8 scoops look better on the gd model cars -

ps, the v10 looks soo small in front of a v8 scoop..
