ok, after trawling throughsthe search results, i havnt found anything definitive.

so:

what are the best spark plugs to use for an increased boost level?

im leaning towards bkr7es's or the platinum equivalent.

who has the best prices?

It might be worth going one heat range colder but don't quote me on that. Sadly I can't help more on what ones to get.

With NGK plugs, the higher the heat range number the colder they are.

i believe the 7's are one step colder from standard?

I'm not an expert or anything, but from my understanding you should be just fine with standard platinum sparkplugs.

im using 6 in my sti... runs really nice but im using iridiums... the plantnums is about $25.00 each

Go 6 brad runs 6s in his car and is running 20psi. We don't really want to move to 7s for daily driving (ie put the 7 plugs in on dyno or track) as all of idling we do in this wonderful Auckland traffic Will carbon them up pretty fast (some one correct me if im wrong please)

I do run 20 psi on bkr6e gaped to .787mm. My plug readings are fine. And don't get detonation on 20 pound. Ideally 7s would be better for me but my car idles so much and crawls in traffic. , , . But your real stock so 6s would be fine. you don't need I

iridiums and platinums only last longer. I use cheap ones ones and change regular

PLATINUMS, PFR6G. It's what Fuji heavy industries fit at the factory..Set to 0.75mm through to 0.80 mm any bigger gap and spark will be blown away due to dynamic compression and associated high squish and swirl above 18 psi.

Hi

in my case I own an sti v-ltd and I was running the NGKpfr6b + over here i get 98 RON and I was having little detonation issues and after reading on the web i switch to the NGKpfr7b and it made a huge difference no issues of any kind and Im passing emissions easy ( emission over here in chile are very strict btw)

so as a recommendation, I would go with the NGKpfr7b... which are 19.0mm reach

I paid like 80+nzd more or less for them, cos I have to order them from overseas tho lol
