Well it's currently at Armstrong Subaru being 'repaired' so it may actually come out fixed this time, if not, fair go etc for sure.

I just watched a Fair Go rerun and it seems the presenters are on Facebook for 45 mins after each show answering peoples questions directly.

If they stiff you again might be a good idea to log on and ask where you stand. Or better yet link to this thread on there Facebook?

well they've had my car since last Tuesday, pretty sure its gone back to magnum compliance as receipts they've given me (took them weeks) have been from same place, don't know where it was taken for sensor/cel problem, guess its gone bake to same place. had to phone stadium cars on friday to find outs whats happening, told me is going to be road tested with diagnostics to find problem with fuel (20L/100k) and poor acceleration. thats a week tomorrow theyve had it

bet if they to it to somewhere like armstrong subaru or trevor crowe (just down the road from them) their people could sort it properly..........

yeah they don't like to show receipts for work done.. they insisted on posting them to us, like you said, weeks later.

If they come back and say there are no faults (they willl) Insist on an independent evaluation from armstrong subaru, will cost you half hour of labour (around $50) but should be able to claim it back from stadium cars, (well I hope he will, haven't got mine yet...)

But it's funny how magnum compliance and vantage automotive say the fault is a "characteristic of the car" yet a proper Subaru workshop can diagnose it within 30 mins...

hi thanks for the info hopefully a week might be long enough for them to maybe fix the problems, was thinking of taking it to

a subaru workshop before it took it back last week, but didnt see why I should have to spend my money on that just. If I get it back I take it in for a once over before I take it back.

just got call from stadium cars today, garage hasnt found any problems with car. The boss or someone at the garage is going to take my car "for A run home tonight as they live out country" and stadium cars will give me call tomorrow..........

Honestly mate if you take their word and take the car and it turns out to be a lemon don't say we didn't tell ya so. You would be nuts to keep it, get a lawyer or FairGo on your side. end of story.

I called them today garage says there is problem with car. was waiting to hear back from them going to chase them up tomorrow, again. Will definitely get an independent inspection done when I get it back and go from there.

OK so this thread is merging into two different cases, both involving the same dealer.

In my case, got the car back from armstrong today, still no improvement to the shuddering. Will call Stadium cars tomorrow, if a refund is not agreed upon Fair Go will be contacted.

Well Ive emailed Fair go, let them know of my concern with the car I have purchased and problems it has had so far.

I also included a link to this thread just to let everyone here know. Had to restrain myself from adding anything to stadium cars facebook page

Haven't heard back from fair go yet, have involved an interested party with my issues who has contacted stadium cars today, waiting on a reply from them.
