does anyone know how to tell what these ECU's are for?

I have a bunch of ECU's, Im looking at selling them but not sure what the spec's would be?

google the big letter/number combo will tell you quite easily . there is prolly people that cam name most of them off their head anyway .

a7 = v5 wrx... thats a grey 4 plug ecu... someone's pissed around with those cases bro....

that ecu should have grey sockets.... one in the picture has yellows...

maybe not. my ecu list is specific to JDM WRX. those cases in the pic (apart from the V9) look to be 1st/2nd gen legacy. even the A7 one.

Thanks guys for the replys, so far all I know is:

-R6 is out of a 94 RS Legacy Twin-Turbo Manual

-R6 MINES Chipped ECU for Twin-Turbo Manual models

-F6 is out of a 91 facelift RS legacy manual (x2)

-V9 is out of a 94 WRX GF8 manual wagon

The ECU in the Link Box seems to have a second mother-board on top??? not sure wtf that would be for? lol

I know Ver 3 Sti ecu have 2 boards like that

Does the top one in the link box have a EPROM socket ??? Any EPROM socket ecu is v1-2 and legacy single turbo

Looks like a factory ecu to me - it will state on it however - factory ecu will have Subaru part numbers and a link board would have link numbers plus a map sensor port would make it pretty obvious

They use factory MAP. But can generally spot a Possumlink as it'll have a chip labelled RSROADQ or something like that.

i think you know the one you've seen has a daughterboard. factory standard is a single pcb.

it'll have an aftermarket tune from Mines (likely for) an early TT legacy.

apart from the fuel/timing mapping, possible differences would be higher rev/speed/boost limits

likely to require 100octane petrol to run properly
