Hesitation under load.

My wrx is driving me crazy lol. When I'm reaching around 2500rpm my car suddenly cuts out then i quickly change gear and its back to normal then I accelerate it cuts again then it has no power even if I have my foot holding down the throttle, then all of a sudden the power comes back on.

Ive changed all four coil packs, Brand new plugs(iridium),new o2 sensor,crank and cam sensor, knock sensor, coolant sensor, intake gaskets even new crank pulley all the timing marks are bang on and there's no vacuum leaks. I'm at a loss here as I hardly have time to work on it. Its been parked up in my garage for couple months now.

anyone here have a clue to what is going on???

Yeah I've tried another AFM off my mates wrx and it still the same issue..hmm speedo cable you say? thats quite interesting because my speedo does read a tad bit faster then the actual speed of the car. No engine check light...

Most speedos read fast. I think when they break and stop working you get issues. A mates RS had that.

Well i might give that a try anyway, Ive put injector cleaner in it today as well still to no avail. Its also running a walbro fuel pump so I know it shouldn't be fuel cut.

well I'm not sure if it was the right way to reset it but I did leave the terminals off overnight the day i changed everything.

I say coil packs, borrow one of your mates and try swapping each of your until you find the bung one. while your at it change your plugs, make sure you get ones with .8 gap

Okay i actually sourced another MAF then i take a peek under the dash and notice two green connectors plugged in.

I unplugged them and took the car for a drive and the car drove sweet boost came on nice and clean. I turned her off and started it back up and went for another drive then the issue came back. Could it be some old codes?

Where about is the fuel regulator located? Yes total noob haha..

On the end of the fuel reg drivers side I think. Wouldnt have thought this was the problem...

Car is running sweet now, I guess i had the wrong plugs haha also the cam sensor had popped out a bit which i just noticed, bolted her up and shes sweet:)
