Looking to buy a BP wagon in manual GT

Doesn\'t appear to be bargains galore on Tardme so I\'m looking at Japan, questions questions...

Apparently only 2006 or later will get a cert due to NZ emission regs? True or false?

They also seem \'quiet\' compared to BG/BH, is this just the std twin pipe setup?

Assume a BP will take the equivalent years WRX/STI short shifter setup?

2005 is the emission cut off,when euro 4 came in

That\'s right, only the facelift model (2006+) can be brought into the country now. And not sure about being quiet compared to the 3rd gen, but in an absolute sense they are fairly quiet with factory exhaust. That is easily changed though Subtech have a video on youtube of a mean sounding wagon which I\'m told has an Xforce cat-back exhaust.

The gt will have equal length headers. So there will be BUGGER all rumble.

2006 on should have Si Drive too, which I\'m a fan of but alot of others aren\'t. Driven a few and they definitely need an exhaust ay.
