dont know wat to do ae. today i tried to install

i installed bov on to pipe it comes from turbo but sound just like air leaking

and i blocked pipe on the top mount intercooler.

is it other way round??

It should be mounted to/off of the intercooler. The hose that goes in the direction of the turbo from the blow off valve area is not going to the turbo and is the return hose, which if running a non-recirculating blow off valve should be blocked.

The turbo takes air from the intake, and compresses it and pushes it out into the intercooler via a \'y\' shaped pipe on the bottom of the intercooler.

cant understand. . . . .

so which hose has to be blocked? bottom hose? or top one?

vent to atmosphere is it okay or does it effect any to da car?

Vent to atmosphere is technically bad on a car with a MAF instead of MAP based air metering, like subarus. It will run very rich for a split second every time the valve goes off.

just block the bottom hose off thats uner the intercooler, and put a hose onto the the pipe that comes off the intercooler at the top and put a hose on there and put your bov onto that and the vacuum hose should be the same as factory

There should be a bung in the intake piping to the compressor side of the turbo blocking it off, the BOV should be attched to a pipe either on the intercooler or on the \'y pipe\' going from the turbo to the intercooler. also a vacuum line from the top on the bov, usually a small nipple with a hose clam, and that line should go to the top on the intake manifold, from memory the most left nipple, if standing above.

hope this isnt too confusing and helps

It has just occurred to me that you probably don\'t have any form of functioning blow-off/bypass valve. Hence you will be getting epic compressor surge and probably risking tearing your turbo to pieces. Stop driving it until you work out which end goes where ;/

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
