how much power will standard sti fuel pump put out?

im trying to reconnect the wires together but forgot which goes with which. there are 4 wires, 2 black, 1 red and 1 blue, the black and blue are both connected to a small black box thing in the middle of the bracket and the red and black goes to the top where the connector is plugged into. also the red and blue wires are both wrapped around in that plastic cover. can someone tell me which wires goes to the pump\'s + and - terminal??

u dont really need the black box (its a small capacitor)

anyway, the red is red on the walbro and the blacl to black on walbro

yep

exactly

done lots of older phase 1 setup like that

makes it neater and easier to setup as well

but yea essentially just use the 2..

also, since u running more power, u should also look at upgrading the pump feed wired

a very wise move if u do

1) downpipe off

2) turbo off

3) front pipe off

just use HEAPS of that rust penetrating lubricant stuff so you dont round the rusty exhaust bolts

you will be fine :)

P.S replace ALL gaskets you unseal otherwise it may mean exhaust leaks and nobody likes doing shit twice. am i right or am i right!! :D haha

If I remember right this can be a gigantic bastard unless you have a 14mm offset ring spanner, preferably a really expensive Snap-on ratchet one.

ive never had issues in my rs taking the up pipe off. dont need an offset ring spanner. i just use a 14mm with the longer extension and making sure that the extension and socket is in line with the nut so i dont round it.

then it just cracks open

soo. after changing the fuel pump, i notice that when the car had about 1/4 a tank left, i get fuel surge when i try to go around corner while going at a reasonably quick speed?? i was told not to use the walbo fuel sock as i could get problems with fuel surge.. but when i took the pump out, i used the the standard sock and im still getting surge at 1/4 tank?? does anyone know why this is happening??

Just fuel sloshing in the tank , its a wide tank so naturally gonna happen. Surge tank and external pump FTW.

How did u go on the dyno ?

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
