Yeah gonna try and get a cruise going as well. Paekak is definitely on the cards, since it's really close. As is Gray's Road. Makara is a bit out of the way, but still doable. The more roads we include, the higher the chances of Viv coming out also!

Dinner : 7pm Nandos Johnsonville

If you do not wish to join us for dinner:

Departing 8.30pm for xmas light cruise. Meet at Johnsonville mall carpark (outside Nando's)

PLEASE NOTE: $2 COIN PER PERSON NEEDED TO ENTER ONE OF THE VENUES FOR VIEWING OF LIGHTS.We are planning to leave Johnsonville and go via whitby and pauahatanui out to the Hutt Valley. When we have finished in the Hutt Valley we intend to cruise to the Telecom Tree at Chaffers Park on the waterfront in Wellington. Then off to have ice cream in Courtney Place.

Thanks to all for coming, a pleasant chicken meal at Nandos to start the evening. A great cruise, first house we went to in Silverstream was amazing, hate to think how long it takes them to put up all the lights and ornaments etc (and the power bill to run it). Unfortunately due to rain earlier in the day the house in Hathaway St was closed because of saturated lawn.

Then on to a couple of houses in Lower Hutt followed by a cruise into town to see the Telecom Tree..

To finish the night off an Ice Cream at Kaffe Eis is a must, and they lived up to their normal high standard.

Didn't get held up for too long by the massive checkpoint on the motorway home (I have never seen so many cops manning a checkpoint before).

The weather held out for us (no rain at all) and going by the temp gauge in the car it was a mild 24 degrees - a rather pleasant evening for wandering around looking at lights.
