I don\'t know of all the wires off by heart but there will be at least one constant and the others. check for constant volts in then volts out from each wire with switch, or measure resistance across the switch itself in all positions to see if theres a short in it.

Could be an alarm problem, within the immobilizer ignition relay, or even alarm wiring.

AFM doesnt always throw code. My V5 was seriously temperamental with afm. Try unplugging it and seeing if theres any difference. Normally stay started for longer than 2sec if afm is buggered or unplugged though just run ragged as fuck for 5-10sec.

You should check your fuel flow rate and then pressure, at the rail. Disconnect the hose and shove it in a bottle, turn the key on and there should be a full flow out of the hose. Now whip it out of the bottle and stick your finger over the end, turn the key on, and you should have pressure, somewhere near household water pressure... depends where you live...

Or you could just check it with a proper pressure gauge as my finger doesnt read 43.5psi. Anyway holding your finger over the end of the hose is thick as s*** unless youre keen to clean it up with a match.

ecu use\'s cam/crank and coolant temp to start engien - all other sensors are ignored

AFM is used once engine is started , so your problem could well be that - can you fit a test unit

easiest way to see is to get it put on scan tool and do a data read out - the reason should be pretty clear

Yeah well for stupid people that would clean up with matches, yeah, perhaps better you don\'t do it that way.

I\'ve had enough pressure though to know that I can hold that pressure in a six mill hose, and I know that if it\'s got enough pressure to feel, that it will keep running, so my suggestion is ok for reasonably intelligent people... you better stick with your gauge though...

And, if you are so smart, why don\'t you suggest the simple things first?

Lol... you young fellahs are a crack-up.

I\'ve been in this forum a damn lot longer than you young Evo.. for that matter.. I\'ve been in the trade just a little more than twice as long as you have been alive...

And, I am a legend.. literally.. funny huh.

You sound all the better for it. Hard to judge how smart you are over the webs and just coz you ride a mobility scooter and know your model t\'s doesnt gain my respect if thats your intention which I highly doubt.

If you were joking about your extra senstive fingerometer Im sorry but it just didnt seem like a joke just a real dipshit idea. If you really are a legend cool Im not going to kiss your feet after a comment like that.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
