How do new members join?

Hi..I met a Subie owner on the weekend and intro'ed her to clubsub..she was keen to get some advice about over boosting. Question...in order for new people to join do they have to pay the $25 noted on the new home page..is that the only way they get to post and read forums these days?

Nope.

They can register and post on the Forum's, just will not have access to members only area.

K..I stuffed if I can see how to get to that point off the home page? Top right it says new members click here?

Bottom left, the image that says "forum" on it is a button to get to the forums. It's currently being disscussed about how that image doesn't actually work as a button. I could go into the technicalities of why human beings will scan the page and not notice it but I risk being called a nerd again ;D

Or they can just type www.clubsub.org.nz/forum and register when it asks.

Ta..how do they..or I get past the front page with the speedo logos etc tho? I cant cut and paste an image of it :-[

As an aside the only way I can get it is via a link in an email I got from Clubsub.

Should just be able to click on that speedo logo and that will lead you in here?? Works for me.

But I didn't even explain about capture errors and how the human brain has trouble discerning certain images when they are different from what is normally used in that situation i.e. clicking on an image rather than a "button" when the brain expects a "button" so then the image is dissmissed subconciously.

Yeah apparently if you make enough noise about something, then it gets sorted
