Nice car, its worth 14k. There's no way you can buy a Type R and modify it to that extent with the change (from 14k). Not many coupe's around in this condition.

I say buy it.

If not, I'd consider selling you mine for that sort of $... haha...

3. There's nothing special about a type r apart from being a coupe.

Really? What about DCCD and short ratio gear box and a r180 plated rear diff and larger rear brake disks and calipers and intercooler water spray.

Fark I get impatient after 2 WEEKS haha

To OP - I'd say it's worth it, he does say 14k ONO so you have some wiggle room there. You could get any number of other cars for the money but that's always going to be an issue with anything you get

With people asking close to that for them bone stock, if you're planning on modifying one yourself why not get one with all the hard work done already, worst case if some parts aren't right you can flick them off (wheels, bonnet etc maybe?) and still be on top compared to DIY'ing it

Buying anything that modified is always going to be a bit of a gamble, but then so is buying a bone stock suby these days so flip that coin I reckon

Yep, a bone stock suby could have been crashed or returned back to stock... you would never know.

With both of those classics they look like they have been well looked after and thats what I'm after.

As i had a V2 classic STI back in the UK and owned it for 10yrs and like those no expense was ever spared.

Also i have an itch that I'm needing to scratch……

Thanks for all the info chaps…..:):)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
