Issues and no tissues

Hey y'all. So driving home from Richards this morning I noticed some minor issues. First up at 100km/h she does this slight hiccup for like half a second and then carries on. It's only when I'm accelerating and seems to be at 3500 rpm. It's weird as. Also noticed when giving it a bit of gas this kind of slight whine, maybe for like a second before secondary kicks in. Again only as giving it gas. Possibly the secondary actuator? No cels popping up and no increase in temp either. Can't tell to much what the boost is doing as I got sick of my gauge falling off the pillar so I ripped it off lol.

plug it up put it on the wind wiper and zip tie it and go to a drive.

Slight hiccup has turned into very distinct shudder under load...

Did you get the gauge back in? Guessing you plugged the hose when you ripped it out. Can you describe the symptoms in a bit more detail?

No cels have come up. Symptoms are as follows: when on gas car will hit 3000rpm and between there and 4000rpm it will shudder briefly (kind of like losing traction) go again, usually shudder again and then carry on through as normal. Mostly in 3rd gear. No vac hoses loose, no temp increase, no anything. Possibilities I've found whilst googling include shoddy plugs (has been 25,000 since last plug change), faulty or clogged maf sensor, faulty front 02 sensor or surprisingly problem with centre or rear diff. Oh or tps.

"Shudder" is pretty vague man

Take it to someone who knows what they're looking - no offence but you're likely to just go in circles trying to find something

What did you touch last and did the problem occur after that

Fair call. Uum, last thing I did was clean bbod but it seemed fine after that. in fact had no problems for weeks but it is a fair call. I'll check there first Oh, dunno when coils were last done. Cars just hit 150k and I took ownership at 125 and I haven't done either plugs or coils...

Borrow an AFM off Nick and let us know how you get on.

Fixed. Vacuum leak in BBOD. New hose had slipped off. Reattached hose, all good. Job for weekend- zip tie all hoses on lol Thanks Marky, all credit to you!!!
