Is Ver7 a good one to buy?

Not much required at all, its an easy mod as its a facelift like facelifting a v1/2 to a 5/6. Just source the front guards, front bumper, headlights and bolt them on. You can even do a v10 facelift too on the v7/8/9 models.

Just can get pricey if ur not keen to wait and spot the deals.

need the radiator support panel and the light support panel that runs in the front as different shape lights on 7 and 8 and 10

DPI's ride is pretty nice, the only thing that would put me off is that it doesn't have the brembo's that other Spec C's do, even other V7 ones.

But then it's really only a necessity if you plan to do a lot of trackwork that would require the bigger brakes. And I know that many WRX's and STis run their standard 4-pot / 2-pot brakes with great success, so I dunno?

that gree one is very nice i must say at 1st i didn't like the color but its grown on me.

personally not a fan of the bug eye lights but hey its your topic so his to his own.

the brembos are good - both performance and looks mean

the 4/2 pot subaru ones are not bad - good pads and fluid and you will be hard pressed to fault them.

i have not found any issues with my setup especially after geting the braided hose lines and the motul race fluid

Brembo's are all well and fine on a Heavy V7 STI, but in a spec C u just don't need em, same for the ABS.

Trust me, it hauls up just as well as it hauls...
