V2 sti RA injector upgrade

So little bit of background, I got a V2 STi RA last week, tidy and rather stock. First thing was to get it tuneable and get a little more power from it, so I've gone and got a link for it, intercooler is in process and fuel pumps easy, biggest thing im finding difficult is fuel injectors.

I'm looking for some in the 650-1000cc area. Is there any out there that will slot straight in. I'm doing my best to keep factory rails as a stock appearance was my aim. I see something about phase 1 and 2 being different so need phase 1 specific ones. Is that right?

Also any tuners that you would recommend near Auckland? Was thinking Dtech in taurunga so far

Swap to v5/6 rails/yellows and decap them. Will take them out to 800ish. Dtech clean and flowtest for $90 everytime its been an overnight service for me.

 

V1/2 are phase 1 as are v3/4 but they are different rails. The v5/6 rails bolt up to the v1/2 manifold.

 

Guessing you have a bigger turbo to go on too if youre maxing out yellows?

Oh so even tho they are a different rail design the v5-6 ones bolt on? If they bolt in that might be a decent option, just struggling to get solid info for them. Are the plugs the same etc? I was doing my best to not remove the intake and get something that would just fit in but seems like that's not an option. Currently stock turbo but I generally over build in prep for future changes

Shouldnt need to remove manifold but if you want to split the rails or use an external reg you will probably need too.

 

Pretty sure the plugs would be the same but if not can slice the locators off.

tony at dtech sold me a set of what I think are reflowed nissan injectors, was under that $200 mark IIRC. Only 700cc but more than enough for moderate power. Maybe get in touch see what he can offer you?

oo welcome to the forums bro, Drews taking his to Dtech for tuning but in AKL, PBMS also have a pretty good rep.are you still planning to put v7 sti TMIC? how do you plan to fit that and keep the stock appearance?

If he replies (probably tonight), hes throwing in a Front mount. Simply put, it's too much of a bastard trying to get another intercooler to fit a Version 1-2. 

 

As for rails, I think he's gonna steal the Rails and injectors off my RA once I'm done with them and give em a jam in his. While I'm at D-Tech we'll get Tony to decap and flow test them.
