What tyres will fit 15in rims?

I must be the one of the few WRX owners still riding round on 15s (mine's a 1995 GF8) BUT I'm going for the rally look. 

 

Call me stupid but I've been watching Colin McRae tribute rally videos on YouTube and I've been inspired by the gazillions of Pirelli stickers on the 555 cars. 

 

As I grew up on WRC and am currently looking for a new set of tyres to replace my 3x windforce tyres and 1x yokohama a-drive that happened cos I needed a WOF, I've decided I need new tyres.

 

I'm keen on 205/65 R15 Pirelli P1 Cinturato, will they fit?

sounds like the stock size to me so yeah? Why wouldn't they  

 

(ps : I dont know of by heart what the stock size is but not many 90's plus Subaru's use anything less than 205's iirc

I would have though 205/65/R15 could be a bit tall.

I will check what I have on the the legacy, I think they are 195/60/R15 and I wouldn't want to go taller in side wall profile.

with 'odd' sizes like that you kinda gotta use what you can get these days LOL (not lol, sorry)

 

but yea could be a but tall, check a tire calculator?

I remember asking for 205's and was told they didn't make them in certain sizes anymore (Can't remember what actual size it was for but was for my corolla) I think thats why I got the 195s for the legacy as well.

Get a good quality 195/60 - 55 proflie, I get a lot of grip out of the 195s on my car.
