Install Sony XAV-AX100 in BP5 Legacy

Hi all, I'm wanting to replace my Japanese GPS with a a Sony unit as per this video. Can someone point me in the direction of the harnesses for the factory wiring and steering wheel controls?

Incase you hadn't realised already you need that exact Sony model, not just any Sony one as that particular one has single Dinn internals so is alot more compact than normal ones are which is why it can fit.

 

That guys installed one in the lower section rather than up top.

Not even all single dins fit in there perfectly, mostly mechless that are ok. Not enough room depth wise as there's a crash bar behind the dash.

 

As for the harness, just get [Subaru -> ISO] + [ISO -> Sony in your case] harnesses, easy plug'n'play. Note that your factory stereo will be disconnected, AC controls or anything else won't be affected. 

 

As Andrew pointed out you'll need a SWC adapter.
