He reviewed the new STI hatch on another website and proudly proclaimed it a "v10"

Despite that, NZ Classic Car is probably the best mag in the otherwise awful Parkside Media stable.

Depends.. If you go by rego it has to be 40years old to fall into classic

Others would say about the 30 year old mark

agreed NZPC is now godawful.

The subaru in the recent issue was fricken horrid. I only really like reading "readers cars" and the old school ones.

These days everything else is just too over the top or so generic as to be not interesting. Occasionally something fun will pop up in there, but not much.

I did enjoy it about 10 years ago for a few years but i feel like the whole mag has just gone in a bad direction ie show cars and pimp mobiles! I guess you have to cater to what your audience wants.

so does it have to be 40years to be a classic car? as we got a 1969 mg convertible, that'll be in the Hamilton Christmas parade if you want to see my ugly face i've been in the Santa parade three times in it now.

I admit to buying it now and again if theres an actual competing track car or drift car im interested in but for the most part to much bling emphasis not enough function over form taking place.

I know the car needs to be presentable and all that but theres quite a few cars around the traps bearing a few rally and track scars I would rather read about than pretty cars that hardly see any action.

The only NZPC I've ever known has always been full of show cars and pimp mobiles.
