I think i've met the girl, she does exist(ish) haha.

I've got panorama mode on my Cellphone, and it takes a mean panoramic picture, its just a shame the quality is poor. I have a really good 360 Degree one from the top of MT VIC (as much as i tried i never did get to mount victoria, so i climbed the hill instead).

Yea I remember most of those roads you drove on from waaaaaay back in the late 90's when I was still a baggie... Man I used to wake up of a morning in Tekapo look at Mt Cook and think - 10 C snow on the mountain and some muppet from Japan is paying thousands $$$ to get there and look at it for 5min, I got to see it at dawn with a cuppa!! ;D

And those roads I love those roads, route marching it, or riding it was fun either way.

Finally my years of studying geography and also a lil geology at uni pays off, it's a good example of plat tectonics there. You can see how all the layers have been pushed up.

Ahh I see now. I've so far only explored south of where you've been. I have spent a week near Ohau staying at the Twizel Area High School camp buildings, which are in this monumentus vally with nothing nut riverbed and a small stream. Accessible with 4WD, Subaru or 2WD Hiace van
