hey guys and girls,

i have just finished my car off but putting a V6 STI block in it and version 4 wrx heads and did a split fuel rail system and put it all back to gether in the car with a after market fuel regulator which i am running at about 42-43 psi.... when i start the car it is very hesitant on starting the whole engine and car shakes like hell and on the boost guage the needle is at 0 .. and when i press the throttle it will kill itself... and few back fires out of the throttle body and air filter...

any suggestions please .. i am desperate for help at the moment.

v6 (phase 2 block) and ver 4 (phase 1) heads?

did you check compression ratios? and valve clearance?

what head gaskets did you use? thick or thin style gaskets?

Definitely sounds like a fueling issue, I had the exact same thing when my external walbro fuel pump died. Turned out to be a fuse and once I had it replaced was back to going great again.... I'd check all connection and make sure ur pump is definitely working, also check ur fuses and alike also.

Um since I have a external pump also setup with an internal my fuse was setup by the battery, but I would assume it should be in the two fuse boxes. It would have to be a pretty massive leak if it was, I've seen cars with pretty huge leaks still run fine but would have serious boost issues when any power was applied.

i managed to get the car idling good not but when you rev it to about 3000rpm it seems to start popping and farting away and when in gear and try to drive it will not have power to pull but the engine will start dying,... white smoke is comming out of the exhaust and i can smell fuel...

you recon unburnt fuel and not a good mixture ?

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
