forgot to set the dvd recorder before we went out last night as I was going to record the top gear marathon, has anyone here recorded it? and would anyone be kind enough to accept my money for a copy of it...? (to cover "postage" of course, as its illegal to make profit from copied dvds etc... )

I have it on my Freeview STB but I don't know how or even if it can be copied off the STB. It's a Zinwell box if that helps.

yea i would download them but we can only get 3g wireless internet where we are so im already paying close to $70 a month just for 2gigs usage lol dont wanna use it all up downloading topgear, might as well go pay for the dvds in that case haha it would be cheaper

hmmm its fast enough and has good download speeds etc just frickn expensive, according to my rough calculations, downloading the entire collection will cost me around $1400 :-\

Nope, got every episode from season 1 up to the last episode of season 14 that aired in england last Sunday.

Guess I have a bunch of them in better quality then, there were new versions of the older eps released at some point with better source and encode

I usually just go for the ones that are about 700mb for each episode. Think some of the earlier seasons are poorer quality though. The 40gb doesn't include all of their special "movie" episodes, which are all in my movie folder so are hard to count without going through the entire collection (which is touching on 3tb now).
