Just wondering What everyones fuel economy was like ,

Done a search but couldnt find any wrx stats only legacy

looks like the twin turbo legacys do about 550 on open road to a 60l tank ,

My 01 v7 sti done 520 kms to 50l tank (98 octane) on the open road but seams to strugle to do over 400 round town ( driving nicely not boosting much at all ) Keen to find out what everyone elses does may be i have a blocked cat or plugs on their way out .

Only mods are cat back exhaust and aftermarket panel filter

Thanks

Its very very dependant on how hard you push your right foot of course. I get about 500-550 kms per tank MY99 Wrx.

Thats a mixture of city/country driving.

I get about 500km from 50L give or take a few litres. Mixture of highway and city, with the mix leaning more towards highway. v3 wrx, vf22, 13psi, aftermarket plumb back valve, 3" exhaust, pod filter. Otherwise engine is stock. Not too unhappy with that tbh

Is your STi an RA or similar ?

Regular STi v7's had a 60L tank.

520km from either is pretty good economy.

;)

Shes a regular v7 as far as i know , the most i have got in it was 46.5 l when i hit the "E"

Im not unhappy with the 520 km open road kms ,just not so stoked with the 400 round town

V7 STI totaly original apart from muffler - 301 km's on 25.7 litres of Ultimate - just normal Highway driving bit of boostin and overtaking. Around town and that I seem to get about 450 - 480 ish to a fill.

Happy days!!

i have a 98 wrx with a ra gearbox, and get about 440-480 (11-12l/100k) aroung town and have a best of 580 (9l/100km) on the open road, those numbers are on 98. My old v6 auto holden commodore also managed to get 9l/100km, which i found very impressive, but hay it literally dose half the rpm ant 100km/h (damp close ratio gearbox!)

"E" isn't empty. You'll have around 8-10L left at that point.

My version 8 STi seems to be bad on fuel, about 450ks to a tank on the open road at best(thats along windy hilly roads mind you), stil seems poor, and thats even after ive set it to run 15.3:1 AFR at cruise, and road tuned all the fuel maps. Compared to my V4 Type R i had that did a best 620ks to 55l open road, stoked with that.

Most cars will do the better part of 100km once they hit "E" before they stop.

my 97 GF8 with sti ecu +vf23 = 10L/100k around town....open road 9L/100 (light-foot cruising)....on the track 24.5L/100k :)

Far out thats really good !!!

I filled up early as their isnt any stations that sell 98 on the way to or from my partners work

got down to e but no light on filled up and it took 49.2 litres to the brim and i had done 403 kms = 8.2 kms to the litre or 12.25 litres per 100 km must have still had 10 l left if it has a 60l tank .

I just got 870km out of 66.2L of Shell V-power in the VE Hold-on Common-Whore SV6. And it is about twice the size of a wrx and goes just as hard. I dont get it!?!? I think it is because it is painted red! ;D

Edit: Did some quick maff's: Thats 7.609 L/100km or 13.14 km/L

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
