Car almost done!
« on: February 19, 2010, 06:39:56 pm »
the dub almost lives!

ok after many hours of putting the turbo on and getting everything hooked up we found the battery was dead.
so got another battery and tried to start, first time wasn't to bad almost started. Then the second got worse and then on the third it was jamming so we stopped. Could moister, oil or something alike by the spark plugs stop it from turning over?

how many times had you tried to start it, you may have fowled (sp?) the plugs, may just need whipping out and cleaning/drying.

ah, caught up with you this arvo at the wreckers

double check everything - if it was starting before you pulled it apart and its not now..

if its not turning after 3/4 attempts i'd say the 2nd battery is flat also?

na battery is fine. its jamming on something?
talked to nick at apet he said could be any liquid or something in there making it hydraulic?
which i think it means jam and stop it from flowing?
