Tow bars

12 posts in this topic

Where would people go in Auckland to get a tow bar fitted? Can get it on with my BPE or the BR9. Leaning towards the BPE as it isn't lowered,is a 3l and handling on BP seems a bit tighter than BR.

Would BP be cheaper as well?

Finding this link is what drove me to the forum!

Pretty sure it’s a tow right branded. I got the company I brought the car from to get it done as part of me buying it

We got these critters to do the Fozzy, they have installers everywhere!

From memory was about $350 installed with a plug wired in.

My memory is notoriously dodgy though, something to do with tree's jumping in front of me, and MTB crashes?... I cant meremeber.:D

Strongs/Waiuku/Henderson? Not that hard to fit yourself if you have decent tools and mechanically-minded.

Are the mounts etc all there or do you have to drill big fecking holes anywhere?

Usually bolt up, but there are 2 holes to drill from 8mm out to 12mm(maybe?) on the gen 4s.

Get one from a wreckers yard? My brother rang up for a Falcon one, $110 including the bolts and brackets. Fit it yourself on Saturday arvo on your driveway, save $$$
