  1. 95 WRX so version 2? You'll need Version 3 loom to work with the 6S.
  2. Just use brake caliper paint from Supercheap/Repco.
  3. Talk to Dave, he did it. But yes you'll need drive shaft loops for starters.
  4. Ringland failure is supposively common in the EJ57 and EJ207's in the 08ish and newer STi's in the US. NAISOC think it's down to the piston rings being designed to aid with reducing emissions and being weaker AND/OR due to a delay in the ECU going closed/open loop or something during acceleration and there's a lean spot. Don't quote me on this, it's just what I've read on Google/NASIOC.
  5. Get Logan's number off Richard you two
  6. Interior is different between the Version 8 and 9. Version 9 http://www.netcarshow.com/subaru/2004-impreza_wrx_sti/1600x1200/wallpaper_07.htm Version 8 http://static.cargurus.com/images/site/2008/08/26/07/24/2002_subaru_impreza_wrx-pic-40769.jpeg
  7. I'd have thought it'd stay twin scroll? Unless you're meaning the NZDM then it might be single scroll still?
  8. My understanding is.. JDM Version 10 2L Quad AVCS (intake and exhaust) New shape (same chassis) Better interior (think it's very very similar to V9) DCCD Twin scroll turbo NZDM V10 2.5L Single AVCS (Intake) Twin scroll turbo Maybe DCCD? V8 STi 2L Singe AVCS (intake) Twin Scroll turbo Same interior as Version 7 DCCD (or was it V9 that got it?) All on the same GDB Chassis.
  9. What vac line did you plumb your gauge into ?
  10. Good to see you're still around and working on the Subby bro! New plugs.
  11. From what parts.subaru.com and opposed forces suggest, same bolt pattern. As for the splitter, I picked up a version 7 STi intercooler and splinter from a member here. Splitter bolted up with no issues. [quote name='RAYDEO said: Nice!selling the old one? When I can afford to get the scoop and a couple other STi goodies painted and fitted, the current scoop will be up for sale. I'll probably won't get this sorted until after I've got a coolant leak fixed, the TD05 put on and a tune sorted. So maybe two months away at this stage. Plus I've got Flatnats to save up for an ferry tickets to pay this week come to think of it. Lots of things to do, not enough spare cash to get it all done at once.
  12. I didn't use the wiring that came with my one. I just plugged it into the factory wiring and it worked.
  13. Ah, I also got a Subaru specific one: http://www.nzperformance.co.nz/fuel-system/fuel-pumps/deatschwerks/dw200-500hp-intank-pump-subaru.html
  14. I recently bought some NGK BKR6EIX from Ebay for under $70 landed. Took about a week tops. http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-PCS-NGK-Iridium-IX-Spark-Plugs-BKR6EIX-6418-Made-in-JAPAN-/221707695261?hash=item339ecef49d&vxp=mtr Only downside for coppers is that you have to change them more regularly compared to Iridium/Platinum/Laser Platinum
  15. I installed a DW200 recently too. But I couldn't be assed/saw no point in changing the wiring. Glad I didn't!
  16. Nah, the solenoid is purely for emissions, but might have died and stuck open or something dumb and the ECU hasn't noticed.
  17. You could for kicks, unplug the power for the purge control solenoid that's bolted onto the manifold. You'll get a CEL, which will go away once it's plugged back in. Pic to give an idea on where it is: http://s138.photobucket.com/user/jasv11/media/brokenpart.jpg.html I'd imagine a leak test will solve your problem though.
  18. http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/en_g11/type_23/body_equipment_exterior/weather_strip/illustration_1/ Is this it?
  19. Products being a Deatschwerks Dw200 (example)? Services being SAS in Chch and how awesome of a mechanic he is? I asked because this I'm not clever and this forum has popped up with no real definition. E.g. The Product and Services forum is here for those who wish to post their experience both positive or negative on a particular product or service. Unless stated or clear objectives and results give, reviews are purely subjective and to help users in their search for information on products and services etc etc..
