1. as posted above...theres stickers on the foglight covers. its the zerolimits logo plus the website below it. i bought the foglight covers brand new from america and they came with STI stickers on therem, it aint an STI so i took them off straight away and put my own ones on yeah i want to do that now, then ill get wider rims, no money though and wont be for a while :-( scoop wise: no hurry to get the larger one but still undecided, if i find one cheap and GENUINE then ill throw it on and see how she looks thanks dude, i just keep an eye out on here and trademe and overseas websites, ive slowly been picking things up over the last year, and decided that for nats i'd get it all done
http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/body-kits-mouldings/auction-455701906.htm as Zal says, theyre a 18x8.5 Wolf S36 wheel, cant remember what my offset was. im thinking 27 or 35 for some reason, but not sure
2. @JGM has 18x8.5 30p on his - ask him The ones I am looking at now are 18x9.5 25p
3. Hey guys, Have been considering selling my wagon in order to buy 2 cheaper cars for me and my partner but can\'t bring myself to do it. Thought I would ask on here what you think it would be worth roughly to get an idea of its going rate. Checked out trademe for similar prices but thought I\'d grab peoples thoughts here. Model: 2000 E-Tune GT-B Legacy Kms: 175000 on body, 55000 on current engine. Maintenance: Oil changed every 5000kms meticulously with 10w40 valvoline and genuine Subaru oil filters only, cambelt and waterpump not due for another 45000kms. Always run on 95 octane and 98 where available (NOT from Gull servo\'s as it has 10% ethanol mix). Modifications: -Has had a rebuild as mentioned above (whole new block). -Rebuilt gearbox at same time as engine. -HDi ECU wired Boost Controller. -Prosport Boost gauge. -v7 STi seats. -JDM STi gear knob from \'05 limited STi Legacy. -Pioneer sound system, headunit, amp, competition series door speakers. -Brand new (2 days old) 18x8.5" Rota Grid rims in Neo Chrome with 225/40R18 Sunny 3970 Always looked after, immaculate interior. Only cons are a few paint chips from stones on the front bumper/bonnet (just the usual wear and tear), a couple of small scuff marks and a couple of small dents in the body work. If anyone can give me some indication on what I could get for this it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

5. i had 235/40/18 on mine with no rolling. think it was a 18x8.5 with a +35 offset
6. From @Invisible‘s build thread 18x8.5+44
7. I know direzzas aren't great, but austyre ? lol I know its not indicitive of all M&Ts but the last one i went in to said I couldn't fit 18.8.5x45 offset, and if I tried then I would need 215 tyres. I now run 18x8.5 40 offset with 225s. The rims look pretty good though.
8. Hey guys! feel free to call me Matt. Cheers for the compliments. Rota's are 18x8.5 44p
9. Yes this is correct, the 'dished/concaved' spokes come from the 17x9+ and 18x9.5+ Grids. The 'flatter' spokes of the 17x8 and 18x8.5 provide much greater caliper clearance. Hence having to run a 5mm slip on spacer to clear the brembo's on the later model Sti's with the 9.5 Grids. This is also the same for the 18x9.5 Rota Torques (which we now stock). It is deceptive as the concave gives the appearance of a larger amount of clearance but as the spokes come towards the centre of the wheel they just clip the corner of the brembo's . The 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 MXR's will not require any spacers to clear the brembo's on later model Sti's. The 17x8 and 17x9 DPT don't require any spacers. Any other questions, please fire away
10. Bigger as in taller, or wider? Taller, doubt many people would as it'll mess with stuff with even a minor size increase over the largest wheel which was available at 215/45/18. Wider, every man and his dog does it. Can easily go 225/40/18 on 18x8 rims for zero issues with most reasonable offsets or get 235/40/18 and 18x8.5 with mid 40's offset and only some added rear camber needed to get no noticeable rub. You're in Tauranga correct?
11. 18x8.5, tyres are 215/40, same as me haha. Dunno his offset though.
12. MMMMmmmm Rota MXR's Due in 18x8.5 +44, 18x9.5 +38: gold/polished lip, matte bronze/sports bronze lip, yamaha black/polished lip, flat black/sports bronze lip, hyper black/polished lip BOTH Brembo compatible Also in Subaru fitments due on the 9th of March (cleared customs by the 11th) 17x8 +44 Rota Grids: bronze, white, yamaha black (gloss black), hyper black 18x8.5 +44 Rota Grids: tint graphite, yamaha black, white, bronze, flat black Currently in stock in 5x100 17x8 +44, 17x9 +35 Rota DPT's 18x8.5 +44 Rota Grid - Yamaha black 18x9.5 +38 Rota Grid - Flat black, matt bronze, gold, tint graphite 18x9.5 +35 Rota Torque - Yamaha black, white, sports bronze, hyper black Any questions please don't hesitate to ask
13. Fitted and balanced new rims and tyres, got a wheel alignment and had my guards rolled. 18x8.5 Rota Grids on my legacy. Will post pics tomorrow.
14. This was my fitment on my old BH5: 18x8.5 offset +38 with 215/35/18 stretched falken tyres just rolled the backs never rubbed great fitment.
15. Can you please post up a pic of the actual wheels when they show up for Rota G-force 18x8.5 +44 (5x100) in all colours?
16. New wheels are on, 18x8.5s. Will be painting them matte black. Have car booked in tomorrow for front 3m tint, and taillights getting a light tint. Blacking out basically everything. Will be making up a custom mesh front grille when I get time.
17. You may find the rs wheels are forged and lightweight anyway, plus maybe wider. Same as sti has forged option with the BBS, something like 2.5 kg lighter per wheel for the same size over the 5 spoke on the v11. Better having 18x8.5 than 17x7 except for the price of tyres.
18. Hey mate, we can get these in. Wouldn't be for another 8-10 weeks though as all of our wheels are made to order Have 17x8's in the DPT's? Or have 18x8.5 +44's in the Gforces and Grids Huge range of colours!
19. In mine I had 18x8.5 +44 wheels with the bilsteins and pink springs - and I did find that when I fully loaded the boot (wagon) I would get rubbing in the rears Height with pink springs I now run same wheels but with BC gold adjustable suspension Height with adjustables [quote name='im-a-bus said: SUSPENSION: Want a slightly lower/ stiffer ride, but wish to keep the Bilstein shocks. What springs would be recommended. Is there an STI variant that's available? what would the price range/s be? sway bars/ strut bars: Anyone selling some? BRAKES: Really just need to know what people are running pad wise. The brakes are nice on the car (as well as everything else) but bear in mind i'm used to cars with MASSIVE brakes. might upgrade the brakes altogether in the distant future but for now I'd just like to try upgrading the pads. What's everyone running and bang for buk, what is recommended? So much for keeping this car stock.... LOL I thought the same about mine when I got my car, I told myself I'll keep it stock haha so much for that! In mine I've got front and rear cusco sway bars and front and rear underbody braces, front and rear strut braces Brakes I've got brembo brakes front and rear - running bendix ultimate pads (I like them, other than how dusty they are)
20. It was $1549 for the wheels at 18x8.5 44p and $834.20 for the tyres - Achilles ATR 215/40/18 So total was $2383.20.
21. I am pretty sure the black CR-Kais (18x8.5) that I had on my wrecked BR9 were wrapped in 245/40/18s, looked nice and meaty.
22. 18x7.5 to 18x8.5 +45 offset with 225/40/18s will do the job. You could do the similar with 19's as well. Grab some hawk hps and replace the brake fluid.
23. Problem with 5th gens is the guard size to brake size ratio. I have 19x8.5" currently and the brakes look tiny. Don't really see myself forking out $1500+ for Brembos. Think I'll look at 18x8 with 235/45 or 18x8.5 with 245/40
24. Oh well, 18x8.5 seems to be okay, even if I have to roll the guards its not a biggie.
