Sorry, but if you want the parts, you need to pay what they told you. Jobs tend to be lost if they buy it at staff prices then on-sell.

Go back and mention you're with clubsub, generally they will give a club discount. Asking if anyone on the forums works there, then trying to grease them for staff discounts is not the way to do it.

Heard they quoted someone $1300 for a MAP sensor... went and got a second-hand one for $40 instead.

If you want to buy from Wingers, say what they charge. If you want to pay less, buy somewhere else.

And the prices are dictated by Subaru NZ, Wingers have bugger all say in it. They're probably buying your $1700 spoiler for around $1500. And yes, map sensors are drug money. Just go secondhand on those.

Try the Wellington and Christchurch Subrau Parts dealers, I got quoted some parts which were 25% less than Wingers. I may have just been lucky, but then again they seemed pretty happy to sell to be selling up to Auckland. Theye were friendly to deal with too.

think ive found one at a wrecker, just gota get there, and i work full time

as for the lip, gota sus a bumper and guards first, wont fit otherwise
