yea like koom said, cut/disconnect the 2nd down pipe and block off the other end.

When 2ndry turbo hits its just like an external?

On BG's which turbo(s) have the waste gate(s)?

serial? leave one not plumbed in and wait for it to come on boost - tractor noises here we come.

even plumbed i notice a slight change in note from mine.

i mean a plumbed in one, talking legal here, not a boyracers pos job.

interesting to know a your plumbed in one made a slight change. didn't think there would be anything in it.

the only change is when the WG opens. This pay be because the WG re -enters the Downpipe right at the top, behind the firewall so i can hear it (as apposed to down near the gearbox mounts.

my exhaust is not overly restrictive of noise (read 106db at 3k rpm) so its not muffing anything thus i think the noise variation is easy to pick up.

Yea i reckon externals sound slightly different to internals on boost (when plumbed in).

But hard to compare unless you have gone from internal - external plumbed in on the same (in which case your problem doing a whole lot of other things, twisted turbos etc also possibly changing the sound slightly)

Externals have there place in the scheme of things and people can do whatever they want, but to say an internal gate can't control boost on a street car is silly.

Thats a stock turbo and the stock boost control solenoid.

Totally agree. The factory solenoid is only as good as the information it gets from the ecu. If you get a big chunky 3" exhaust and don't reflash then you have to expect there will be some spikes and creeping (shit in; shit out). If you want an EWG for the noise then sweet, but i'd rather spend the money on a decent tune and get a much better overall result (good shit in; good shit out). :)

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
