Well the responses were interesting. Only about a fifth did the 'hear the message and hang up' routine. about 60% left messages, but out of this only about 30% were still continuing asking about the car for the sale.

One message I personally like was the fella who said I'll take your car, and I'll give you a grand extra to help the family of the kid you hit. That was touching.
