O2 sensors are fine, its the rubber fuel components that arent up to the game

I have used the Gull 98 since it became available. I use BP on long trips often but normally use Gull for no reason other than convenience, I always seem to live or work near a Gull service station.

My car has probably seen just over 50,000 km on its new engine and 90% of that would be on Gull 98, no issues thus far...

Im not saying they wont come, im saying so far so good and I have little reason to doubt that will change.

- Edit - 1998 WRX for the record -

yeah that gull or mobil sh!ts not really 98octane. its apparently like 97.2 or some sh!t but they call it synergy 1000?

Thats RON

When you compare MON, Mobil has a higher number, which explains why it "performs better."

But then it is only really academic in most road going cars (unless your car was tuned/designed for 98 or higher), also then you have to take into account the ECU having learnt the fuel type you currently use...

FWIW, My wife's RS ran on shell 95 for years, with no issues what so ever... In fact the current owner still runs it on V-Power...

ud be amazed at how nutty a knock link goes when running v power LOL... knock knock knock knock knock

with subie boy on this only ever use Mobil 98 reckon its 10 times better than BP ultimate... BP's min ron rating is also 97.5 as with Mobils and Shell does have 2 fuels that are better than both they are just not sold locally only in australia.. The first is Shell optimax which is a 98ron fuel and also has better mon ratings than Mobil and they also sell BP 100ron in 20 litre drums maybe we should write to Shell and get them to stock it here

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
