V7 STi +38 offset?

The offset seems low.. but its more about the shape of the spokes that is going to matter than the offset. Best idea is to just try one.

There isn't an answer just by asking "will +38 fit?"

Clearing Gaurds wont be your issue i wouldnt think - You have a V8 right? so clearing the Brembo's is more an issue? Also is the car lowered?

im guessing you mean 17 x 7.5? I had a set with the same sizes and they fit fine. I think even my 19"s are still p38. As long as you stay on 7.5 and dont go any wider then you shouldnt have any problems. mine is a V5 though but id assume they would be similar.

I've got a V7 STI Spec C, Brembo equipped. It's lowered 35mm on coilovers, 6kg/mm front and 4kg/mm rear. They're Prodrive GC-10s, made by Rays and look like CE28Ns that have put on a bit of weight. They're in Auckland, I'm in Wellington. My current wheels are the BBS forged 10 spokes that are stock on the Spec C, 17x7.5", they only just clear the Brembos.

what size tires are on your car now?

what width and offset are the current wheels?

you can work out how much further out the tire will come with that info.

i think a et38 17x7.5 rim will be fine for tire-guard clearance. brembo clearance depends on the spoke design and possible lip depth

The current wheels are 17 x 7.5 +53, with 225/45/17 tires. Basically, the wheels are going move outwards 15mm. I'd have no issue doing it on the stock struts, as they made the car look like it was on stilts. A bit more of a worry regarding guard rub with a 35mm drop, although the spring rates on the coilovers are higher than standard. Also not sure what it's going to do to my wheel bearing life.

I put those Advans on, initially with 5 mm spacers, and with 48 offset (43 with spacers) they came out quite close to the guards.

They are the same size as you are looking at, 17x7.5 but with a 235/45R17.

I think 38 will be too much, but it does all depend on the spoke design really.

Only way to be sure, fit them...

I could have a go myself, but i don't have brembo's so it would still be a guess on that...

Go with the Advan RG's on tardme for 590...

Get them painted a nice matt black, or bronze...
