Hi everybody!

My bg5 GTB has had ver 7 wrx wheels put on after i was told all my old wheels were (all straight and in great nick), has had two wheel balances, and still shudders like a big white vibrator from hell. Can anybody please tell me what might be wrong with my legacy?

The guy who balanced the wheels would have told you if you had flat spots / bent wheels etc

Brake discs will only cause an issue under braking ( unless there is a huge chunk of disc broken off causing an inbalance issue)

Does the car ONLY vibrate/ shudder when under accel/ load and go away when you get off the throttle?

If so then Inner axles joints will be the cause

Yup would have to agree with inner CV's

also see if you can find a place that does ON vehicle balancing

The wheels and tires are in good nick, it shudders when from 70/80 km/h upwards, wheels have been balanced twice. strange thing is that sometimes after 15min driving it just chills out (ie. on motorway) and becomes smooth.

Inner axle joints are worn / dry / siezing

You can repack the joints and swap the complete left and right axles from side to side

This will load the oposite side of the joints that will be practically unworn

Have done this trick many times with gr8 results

Let me know how you get on

honestly if ya have zero idea about this then dont attempt it - it deals with suspension, drivetrain etc

Take it to a workshop and tell them you want the front axles repacked and swappped left to right

They should charge you around 2 - 2.5hrs plus a comsumables charge

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
