Is your car stock? The VF10 should straight swap, not sure on the TD05H. The TD05 is also huge compared to the VF10 and Vf8. Will want supporting mods to go with it IMO.

yea that is a mitsi so will need adapting (flanges are differents)

vf-10 is smaller than vf-8

go for a td-04

and a tdo5h16g if u have supporting mods

when i went from td04 to td05 in my forester we had to do the whole intake swap,was a bitch lol

laz, i'd be looking for a vf28/29/30 for a foz tbh... sf5c/d revision. the a/b revision would be after a 22/23/24...

unless you have supporting mods

tbh when i had the td05 it was all good,didnt pickup as fast as td04 but went harder,then i went from td05 to vf22 and i didnt really feel much difference,and im running the yellow injectors,orange afm and 6s ecu

i believe they are off early wrx ( non sti ) and some wrx wagons?

only changing cos my vf8s starting too smoke and it needs to be replaced anyway, might aswell upgrade ? but im definetly getting the supporting mods for tha piece of mind.. injectors, fuel pump etc. cars dead stock apart from the usual, pod, bov blah blah

so the 16g tdo5's will do it ? and what would happen if i ran it with that turbo without supporting mods for say a month ? too save more green..

you can run it with normal mods for abit,just dont thrash it all day everyday,but td05 will be good i reckon

if you can get a td04 go for it, they are a really quick spooling turbo.. my mates gravel exp versus my sti of the same year had stuff all difference in power until we got up past 100km

my mate a nz new wrx,running td04 and dam that thing was quick and was good cos it didnt cut ou at 180km

TD04 as a daily driver turbo is pretty good really... not great for top end power but it spools pretty damn quickly.

i got an 89 aswell. do u need supporting mods to run TD04? and wat ecu would i need to run yellow top injectors on my car?

im sure you wont need supporting mods to run a td04,just gotta change the intake pipe or get the td04 that has the bend that goes same way as td05
