Recommended Posts

We are going to hold a DIY on Sunday 7th as an instruction day on how to regrease/replace struts.

Venue: WorkshopMgr Garage (pm me for address) aka The Olds

Time: 1.00pm

Please Bring your own refreshments (non alcoholic - can't promote drink and drive :P)

A bbq may be held weather dependent. Please bring gold coins for sausages.

If anyone has a COW feel free to bring it as I am sure coffee machine will get a thrashing and milk will be in demand.

The two that need regreasing do not have springs on, the other two can be regreased if necessary.

Great afternoon hanging with some of the wellie crew. Thanks for organizing it club sub mum!!!!

It was great to meet you too knuklz, and also two other new members James (Jamebun) and Nic (Nick_96_RSB).

A good turnout of other club sub regulars, pics will follow of the struts being done.

A big thank you to Ben (Bazza) for showing how do do the struts - much appreciated, especially by Mike and myself as our car has now new struts in the back.

Also a HUGE thanks to Brent (workshopmngr) and Colleen for opening up your home for us - we couldn't have done it without your great hospitality.

Cheers

Debs & Mike

Old strut to be replaced, leaking and failing.

The right tools help.

This replacement one was faulty, the insert had not been seated properly and it was unusable.

Inside the strut with the old grease.

Cleaned and ready to reinsert into strut.

Fitting replacement into car.

Both rear struts were replaced, the ride is far better with a much more solid feel to the back end, drove home with a heavy jack and other weight in the back so it is hard to gauge the changes yet.

Big thanks to Bazza and WorkshopManager for the help and place.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
