If you have Gearbox number theres link to Ratio charts on here I think.

If not I will post a link when I get home later.

Either way your best to get Gearbox number to ensure accuracy.

Use search function on the page. Gearbox number is on the top of bell housing from memory,I know in my WRX we found it from the top while the box was in place after some buggering around with a good torch.

I'm guessing there's not many 5 speed auto's so that narrows your gearbox code to a newer model then 2005 + ?

no 5 spd auto was standard auto transmission from BP onwards in the legacies.

the gb code will be on the passenger side strut plaque

Whoops didnt even click you were looking for an Auto.

BP is later model isnt it? so odds are its original box? Might be worth taking a punt on asking a Subaru dealer to check model number or Chasis code for what sort of box it came from?

BP / BL is 2003 onwards. should be able to check yourself on the plaque has to be 99.99999% original box.

the JDM BP/BL legacy with the EJ20X engine had either a 3.272 or 3.583 rear diff ratio

So they came with either? do you happen to know what criteria changed which option went into what model?

for some reason it depends on the model only

Whats wrong with your valve body? I have the relearn process to set up the solenoids vs the clutch packs
