Where is a good place to go to for panelbeating and paint?

Anyone do perkies?

While the motor is out - I may as well tidy up some previous dodgy repairs from the frontal (by last owners). The drivers guard doesn't fit properly.. and rust near battery tray, and a few minor dings/bad spots in body

If you want to go somewhere close, I'd suggest Blair Wright in Johnsonville. Took my old wagon there and did some decent work in good time.

Just Rust, down the road can repair it... i will need to go talk to Pete about respraying a blue mazda bumper also

Yeah I was going to suggest just rust as well, but wasn't sure if he'd do the panel beating repairs, or 'Just Rust'

I got my roof vent and sideskirts done by just rust, wasn't very impressed with the result (butt im very fussy with things like that...) only cost me like $80 though so it what I paid for lol

There's a guy out in Plimmerton/Mana who did my girlfriend's a-pillar rust when she needed it for her WOF, did a good job from what I could tell and was decently priced. Can find out details if you need?

Blair Wright Group are hell expensive, just rust do panel work, very cheap too

Bazza had some rust removed form the rex a few weeks back from Just Rust ... check how he got on.

Blair Wright did my old Telstar when someone ran into it and did a primo job, but expensive, thank god for insurance cover. I also had R S Lane, Petone do some work to, just can't remember what.

Panel & paint is usually something you get what you pay for, unless you know someone qualified who can do perkies, even then painting is best done with the right facilities available.

Ive got a number of car park/trolley dings that I want to get fixed and side skirts I want fitted.

Ive heard there are a few guys who do call out type jobs to pop out trolley dings etc, any one know about this?

theres a guy in Tawa/Keneparu drive next to Porirua Euro, last time they qouted me $1500 to respray the whole car

Paid $210 for job to be done, it cut and re-welded the rear part and gave photos to show his work for WOF purposes. (you saw the work Jason) They even fixed up a little bit extra they spotted without charge. Easy and friendly staff. I didn't care too much about the paint work due to the location but expect to pay more if you are wanting a nice paint finish.
